COLLOQUIUM: religion in the public square
The organisers of the colloquium have a high view of the Bible, our Reformed heritage, and a belief that Christianity ought to be a clear voice in the public square for the common good. We have the hope that providing a forum for discussion on social and biblical issues will further equip Christians in engaging with their communities.
Spread over two days, the colloquium will be structured as individual presentations followed by interactive discussions. Morning tea, lunch, and afternoon tea will be provided, with dietary requirements to be noted in the registration. View the schedule.
The colloquium will be held in the halls of Scots' Presbyterian Church, 156 Collins Street, Melbourne.
Public transportation is easily accessible. Tram stops near the church are 101 Collins Street and the Town Hall/Collins Street stops. Parliament station is a short 5 minute walk, and Flinders Street Station only a 10 minute walk.
